Coaching Philosophy

We are fully committed to the riders we work with.  We want to make a difference to these riders in their development and want them to be the best they can be, in undertaking this we will give the rider what they need – it is important to understand that this may be different to what they believe they need.  Whilst our primary focus is performance and racing, we are happy to help any riders in any way we can and always remain approachable.

The Coach

Bob Lyons has 35 years experience of elite sport performance coaching. Managed to balance participation and coaching with a successful corporate career, now full time and fully focused on coaching.

The Nutritionist

​

Paola Rodriguez-Giustiniani been working with athletes (elite and recreational) as a sports nutritionist for the last 10 years. Currently, she is the Performance Nutritionist of a Scottish Premiership football team and also is completing her PhD at the University of Stirling. Her main focus is to translate the latest sports nutrition scientific information into practical advice and offer athletes different strategies to improve their performances and overall health.

  • Undergraduate degrees in both Clinical and Sports Nutrition.

  • Masters degree in Sports Nutrition.

  • IOC Sports Nutrition Diploma.
